Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh meet his Chinese premier Li Keqiang at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing 

 

Beijing: India and China  signed a new agreement to support and   co-operate on trans-border rivers.

This aims to draw India’s concerns over  new dams on the Brahmaputra river. It will  also facilitate the exchange of flood data  and disaster managmentThey also discussed imbalance in trade with China and came to solution to end this gap.Bilateral trade touched USD 66.5 billion last year. China's exports to India totalled to about USD 47.7 billion last year. India and China have set a target of USD 100 billion  in bilateral trade by 2015.Indian government wants China should join hands with Indian  IT and pharmaceuticals Company which is having global edge.Manmohan Singh raised  the sensitive issue of the border dispute between India and China which  should be  settled with mutual understanding.Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh addressed  public gathering at the Central School of Communist Party of China in Beijing.Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh also invited his Chinese counterpart Li Keqiang to visit India.
