Obama on historic phone call with Iran's Rouhani

US president Barack Obama briefs the press on his historic phone call with newly elected Iranian president Hassan Rouhani on Friday. Obama's conversation with his Iranian counterpart represents the first direct talks between leaders of the two countries since the 1979 Islamic revolution. Obama said the 15-minute telephone call had shown abasis for resolving the dispute over Iran's nuclear programme.#http://bit.ly/16Efd0i
