Washington: Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif meets US President  Barack Obama at the Oval Office  of the White House .The US president during the meeting raised the issue of Jamaat-ud-Dawa (JuD), cross border terrorism . He also talked about  the Pakistani doctor who helped the CIA track down al-Qaida chief Osama  bin Laden . How to counter terrorism with global cooperation was discussed.In a joint statement issued after the meeting at  the Oval Office  White House .US President Barack Obama  welcomed recent engagements between Nawaz Sharif and Manmohan Singh. He hoped all territorial and other disputes would be solved  peaceful.Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif said he discussed the US president about his  sincere commitment to build the best relationship with India.
US President Obama said that the Pakistan PM was taking a "wise path" to finish the decades long tension between  India and Pakistan .US President Obama also asked  Sharif why trial of 26/11 accused has not started .Why the case of  Mumbai attackers moving at slow pace.Pakistan PM d'nt got any expected assurance on drone strikes on  suspected terror dens in Pakistani territory. During the meetingSharif raise Kashmir issue as usual. There was no mention in White House statement on Kashmir issue or drone strike.Nawaz Sharif also talked US President on  business and economic development . He strongly told we d'nt need any aid from US. Sharif wanted  US should open there market for Pakistani products. He also asked US President to motivate US investor to invest in various sector in Pakistan. They vowed to strengthen the two countries' security and economic cooperation during meeting.Obama and Sharif also welcomed the progress on the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India  pipeline  project. They also asked the Energy Working Group to explore possible further US support for the Central Asia-South  Asia electricity line, CASA-1000 with the World Bank support.
